Manual Application Instructions To ensure optimal results, we recommend using an Easy Feeder. However, if manual application is preferred, follow these steps: - For softeners with a brine well: Pour 4 oz. (1/2 cup) of Res Care cleaner for each cubic foot directly into the brine well. - For softeners without a brine well: When the salt tank is low, pour 4 oz. (1/2 cup) of Res Care directly into the salt tank.
Manual Regeneration After pouring the Res Care cleaner, manually regenerate the softener as usual. This process will help maintain the health and performance of your water softener by continuously defending against contaminant build-up.
